Reaching Out

Mark's cousin is a radiology technologist and recently did some imaging studies on a newly diagnosed Biliary Atresia patient. She gave the mother of the child this blog address in hopes that she might reach out to me. So I'll reach out tonight with a prayer that this mother, wherever she is, will realize that she's not alone. The hopes and dreams she has for her baby, the fears and unknown - I understand it all. I've been there. And I'm able to see so clearly from the other side now; but I remember those dark days after Anthony was newly diagnosed. All of the medical terms and the surgeries. It's scary. Please keep this mother and her baby (and any other family they might have) in your thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Laurie
