Disney World May 15 and 16

Hi, remember me? No? Well.....hmmm.....

OK, so I have no excuse for not blogging. I haven't been working much, and I officially start GRAD SCHOOL in August (yay me)! But home = lots of play time with the boys, and when nap time finally rolls around, I'm usually, well, napping!

So now I'm going to finally get around to sharing pictures of our trip to Disney World. There are (quite) a few pictures, so I'm going to share them in blocks over the next few days.

Anthony and his grandparents (Nana and Grandpa) left for Disney World a day ahead of the rest of our household. They drove, and took two days to get there. Knowing Ben's temperament, Mark and I opted to fly.

Day One in Disney World wasn't really much - we arrived at the Animal Kingdom Lodge: Jambo House, ate, swam and collapsed in bed.

Day Two saw us at Animal Kingdom, and I think that park will go down as my favorite. It's really well laid out, and there was plenty for the kids to do there (see: pictures in Dino Land). Not to mention that the ride Expedition Everest is there, and we hadn't ridden that one before (it's pretty good). The one thing I've noticed about Disney World's adult rides: they're quick, and you'll usually only get one good drop/twirl out of the ride.

So without further ado, on to the pictures!

The Mickey towel that greeted us at the hotel:

The view from our balcony (or the grandparents' balcony, they were much the same)

After eating dinner the first night, we took the boys swimming at the hotel.

Character breakfast at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom!

We rode the Safari ride and saw a ton of Anthony's favorite animals

Hey, look! There's Mount Everest!

Dino Land!!

Nana and I rode the Medieval ride with Anthony and got whiplash! :)

If Ben was in the stroller, he was either eating grapes or drinking water/juice. He stayed well hydrated!

Ben loved the slides in Dino Land

Anthony loved the models in Dino Land

My little GQ man

We ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe

VOOOLLLL CAAAA NOOOOO!! We ordered the "Volcano" for dessert: four brownies and a ton of ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

The kids loved the dessert; although Ben had a little trouble using his fork!

More pictures to come!
