First Days of Work

I started my new job this week! I had two days of orientation, and then started working in the lab on Wednesday. Pretty much everything I learned in my blood bank rotation in school has come back to me, and I'm finding the work challenging but VERY interesting. I hope that I'm trained soon so I can work as a tech and not a trainee!

Anthony came home from school on Wednesday with pink eye. It looked pretty bad Wednesday when I got him from school, but it had started to look better even before we got the antibiotic eye drops in his eyes. He spent yesterday with Nana, and will do the same again today. I know he's no longer contagious, but we all felt that it was better to just keep him home one more day.

I have another OB appointment on Tuesday morning, and may get to see the baby again. I'm looking forward to my appointment in February; I think that is when we'll find out the sex of the baby. And yes, we DO plan to find out...will we tell all of you? Maybe. :)

Congrats on the new job! It will be such a relief once you are comfortable with it and your not training!

I hate pink eye! It just looks nasty, very contagious! I get it when I am sick, for some reason more than the kids! Who knows.
