Movin' on Up

Anthony is moving into the three-year old class at his new daycare today. The criteria for him to be moved? He had to be accident-free at school for two weeks. Apparently, he has been accident-free. I'm a little confused, though, as he's come home with a dirty (wet) pair of underwear and pants almost every day since he started three weeks ago. Not complaining, though...the three-year old class is cheaper!

Anthony is really doing well with going to the bathroom when he needs to. We still remind him, of course, but he's getting to the point where he'll sometimes stop playing to go.

So, to all those potty-training moms (one?) who read this blog: don't sweat it...they'll do it when they're ready. Anthony really has been easy to potty train (we've been working on it since August, though!)...easy when we've let him be the one to show the initiative. Stickers and MnMs work well as bribes, too.

Life is quiet here. Boring is good. One last week of class, then Spring Break. More later.

I can't always make this work. Anyway, Just remember, I've never seen a grown man who wasn't toilet trained. So be patient! My motto is: "This, too, shall pass."

Gosh, I love Gram's advice!

Sigh...but then, you've already read the post on the little boy who climbed out of his pajamas because his diaper was wet.

Congrats to Anthony for moving up to the big boy class. I know it's nice not to have to deal with diapers so much anymore.
We're slowly getting there with John M, but he's much better for the babysitter than for me!
