I Did It, Mommy!

This morning Anthony decided that he was going to undress himself from his PJs, and then get dressed in the clothes we had picked out for the day. He's growing up so fast, and I wish I could hang on to the little things that I've always done for him. Getting dressed in the morning has been one of my favorite things...he still smells like a sleepy baby, and I always kiss his scar and say a prayer of thanks to God. I know I can still do all of that, but I'm going to miss tickling him when I take off his shirt.

He'll be three soon, and I'm not ready!

Laurie: I love reading your little quips every week - you are such a good mama. Brings back memories of when my 31 year old was almost 3. I believe he had an Oscar the Grouch cake if I am not mistaken :) Take Care and love you much.

Yeah, I've been there, Laurie. But wait until you have another one, you'll be so thankful for all the things he can do himself.

This sounds just like Luke. He will be three soon too, and has turned into Mr. Independent. Telling me "I do it" It is so sad, but also neat. Sometimes he won't even let me go in the bathroom with him to go potty, I have to close the door for him.

Maybe after the excitment of knowing he can do it himself he will regress like Aiden did... I can't get my boy to put ANYTHING on. lol

Anthony is growing up sooo handsome. I love the pics of him with Kri Kri.. ((HUGS))
