Helpless

In my life, I have never seen such devastation brought on by one storm. Watching the news reports, getting the pictures emailed to me, hearing the stories family members are hearing...I'm sick. My cousin's husband is still in New Orleans. He is trying to get out, but has no way of getting from New Orleans to, well, anywhere. As soon as I know he's out, we're going to get him. If he can get here, he'll stay with us. I hate feeling this helpless. And yet, I've got my home, my electricity, my car, my clothes, my pictures...so much of my family doesn't now. To all of you, whatever I have that I can give, I will. If you need man-power, I'm there. If you need food, I'll cook it. Whatever I have I will give.

Please continue to pray for everyone affected by Hurricane Katrina. There are so many people, in so many states, that need your prayers.

I'll post some cute pictures of Anthony tomorrow.

Love, Laurie, Mark and Anthony

We want to help too. You were my first thought and I am glad that you and little Mr. Anthony are OK. I'm sitting here in front on cnn - praying. Let me know how I can help.

Laurie - We're praying for your extended family. I hope that you get the call to start shuttling people back and forth. Call if you need to talk or vent!
