We're Back to our Regularly Scheduled Program

YAWN! Going back to "real life" is tough! I enjoyed so much my vacation this past weekend, and am so sad that it's over! It's always fun when you put nine adults, one child and two dogs in a big house together! Luckily no blood was shed (and very few tears, I think).

Anthony's appointment with Dr. Rigby (the ENT from Children's) was on June 30th. Dr. Rigby said that Anthony's incision is fully healed and is looking great. The tubes are in place, and are working well. We won't go back to see Dr. Rigby unless something serious comes up. Instead, we will see Dr. Bringaze here at home, and will see her every three months until Anthony's ear tubes fall out (or an infection starts again, please God no!). Anthony's first appointment with Dr. Bringaze is on July 12th.

It was back to day care and back to work for our family yesterday. Work, as usual, is slow this time of year, so I did more sitting around than actual work. Anthony was not too happy about going back to day care, and decided not to eat lunch yesterday. I hope he'll do better today! He was pretty unhappy about going to day care this morning, too. He cried from the time I got him up until I dropped him off. Not hard, but enough to let a few tears drop every now and then. It's funny and not at the same time.

There's not too much else going on here. A short week at work, and I'm glad for it! I just haven't been able to get in the swing of things...at least all of my laundry is done!

We repeat labs this Monday, and if they're fine we will go back to monthly labs (starting on August 1st). I'll post again on Monday once I know what's going on with his numbers.

Thanks for checking in on us!

Love, Laurie, Mark and Anthony

Coming up in Anthony-land:
Friday: spending the night with Nana and Grandpa!
Saturday - Sunday: playing in the pool?!?! Watching out for TS Daniel!
Monday: labs (see you then, Cheri and Melissa!)
