Not Me! Not Me! Monday!!

I read a blog, one I found by linking to a link on a link from a link on a blog (get that, did you?). That's how I find most of the blogs that I'm addicted to. Someone posts, "You've GOT to read this post on this blog!" And so I go...and before I know it, I've been linked to 10 different blogs, and I'm in love with a couple of them. Anyone want to guess why my laundry isn't done, my floors aren't swept, and Anthony's room looks like a disaster zone? Why, no! I don't spend my free time reading blogs of people I don't even know...NOT ME!

And so, I've been wanting to do this for a while - but today I can win a PRIZE for doing Not Me! Monday! from MckMama's blog, and I'm all about free stuff, so here goes! The idea is that you post things that you most certainly have done but state that you did not do them to ease the guilty conscience. I'm gonna be good at this!! :)

I did not leave early for work this morning so I could clock in a few minutes early, thereby getting to sneak out a few minutes early this afternoon. NOT ME!!

I did not run a red light this morning because this light is ridiculous and ALWAYS turns red as I'm approaching and NO CARS ever come from the opposite direction. NOPE! I'm always conscious of my driving, and try to be safe at all times.

I did not take 40 minutes for lunch today because I couldn't stop reading "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer, even though I know the book like the back of my hand because I've probably read it 5-6 times. I NEVER reread books, and I NEVER get caught up in what I'm reading.

I did not buy Anthony a cookie at the grocery store this afternoon because it was easier than listening to him complain about how he was SO hungry and his stomach was growling SO loudly. I have more patience than that! I'm more concerned about his health than that!

I did not plop Ben in his high chair and throw some Cheerios on his tray just so I could get three seconds of peace while I changed out of my uniform! Who does THAT?

And here's one for the not-so-distant future: I am not letting Ben sit in a dirty diaper in his high chair just so that Mark will have to change him when he gets home from work. What kind of mother/wife do you think I am??
