Sneaky, Sneaky!

The leprechauns came to our house in the middle of the night last night! They had mischief to make in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

Anthony, of course, loved it - and I'm glad I decided to do this! I think it will be something fun to do as the years progress.

The leprechauns dyed Anthony's toilet water green. He came to me at 5:45 this morning and said, "Um, Mama? My toilet water is GREEN. GREEEEEEEEN." I pretended not to believe him, and off we went to check it out. Sure enough! Green toilet water.

Then he looked up at me and said, "What is wrong with your hair?" Apparently, leprechauns like to play tricks on Mommy, too...my hair was all wild and crazy in a bunch of pigtails on the top of my head!

Then he found Lucky Charms cereal instead of his usual Cheerios. THAT was a big surprise since I don't usually keep that kind of cereal in the house, and he SAW me putting the Cheerios out the night before.

When he got his cup of milk out of the fridge, it had been dyed GREEN! He made me taste it first to make sure it was still milk. He didn't drink much of it - I think it freaked him out a bit! :)

While he was watching TV, he went to put his uniform on and found out that his Black Bear was already wearing it! That really flipped his lid.

He called me this afternoon at work to tell me that the leprechauns had made it to his school, too. They made mischief in his classroom, and the kids found little green footprints around the school, too!

Man - NOW I know why I had kids...so I could keep acting like one!

I never did this stuff with my kids. You are such a fun mom. Now when Anthony pees green tomorrow how will you explain that?

That is a riot. Can't wait for Easter. I'll have to share a story with you about what Uncle Pat did to us one year. I'll never forget it - childhood memories. Now, about that green milk - yucko!

That is SO much fun! I don't remember doing anything that fun for St. Patrick's Day! This year, I had my first "green beer", but that's about as exciting as it has ever been :o)

Here at Kingsley, we had green water, green brocolli and green jello. I wore my green blouse. But green milk! Well! Love, Gram
I think I spelled "brocolli" wrong!
