Some Idea

Mark's aunt, who has suffered with cancer for some time, passed away on Friday. Mark's two brothers have come in for the funeral; we picked up Parrain (Marshall) at the airport yesterday, and Matt drove in from Georgia on Friday.

We didn't tell Anthony that his two uncles were coming to town, instead we let him be surprised with their arrivals. We drove to the airport to pick up Parrain, and Anthony was so excited to see him.

On our way to Mark's parents' house, we told him there would be another surprise there for him. I asked him if he had any ideas of who could be waiting for him at Nana and Grandpa's, and he said, "I have no ideas in my body, Mommy."

So Mark said, "You don't have any inklings of who could be there?"

Anthony responded, "I won't have any inklings until I'm taller, Daddy!"

Tomorrow we will say goodbye to Mark's Aunt Mary. While her death was not a shock to our family, the loss still hurts. Please keep our family in your prayers; tomorrow and the days to come will be hard.
