Excited!

Mark and I had put in an application for Anthony to attend the Catholic school affiliated with the parish we are parishioners of. I was a little nervous that he might not get in, not knowing how many other parents were going to apply for their children.

We got the letter today that he has been accepted! As of August, Anthony will attend a "real" school wearing uniforms and everything! I can't wait to see him on that first day. :) Lots of pictures will be taken, be sure of it!

My favorite part of the letter was the supply list. It's not that different from when I went to school, but there was one sentence that made me laugh: "Pre-K students are not allowed to bring rolling book sacks to school." Excuse me? Was there any concern about me buying my little kid a rolling book sack? I can't imagine homework being that bad in Pre-K! Hahahaha.

Anyway, I'm all excited, and can't wait to take him on a special "Mommy and Anthony" shopping trip to buy his new book sack!

Oh, he's gonna be so cute in his uniform, Laurie. I'm gonna be in that boat next fall. Part of me is excited, but part of me is sad. He's my last baby, you know. But you're lucky; you have one on the way!
