Pool Pics

Before any of you bring out the cross to crucify me, let me just tell you that Anthony's ENT told us that we could take him swimming whenever we felt like it...infection or no, as long as we put cotton in his ears and covered that with some Vaseline. As long as he doesn't have fever and has resumed his "normal" daily routine, he can go swimming (per the ENT).

That said, we took Anthony swimming last night. Our neighbors across the street went with us, and we had a blast. As usual, Mark brought the camera and got some great pictures (to anyone out there who thinks I take the pictures, you could not be more wrong. I stink at taking pictures).
Also, in the pictures, you won't see much of me...but I'm there. So if it looks like Anthony is just bobbing along in the pool by himself it's because I cropped myself out. Anthony did swim some on his own, though. He figured out quickly how to maneuver himself in the pool with those arm floaties on, and he had a blast. If we tried to hold onto him, he pushed our hands away. So we just hovered right near him and watched. I'm looking into "Mommy and Me" swim lessons for him.

Wheeeee!

He had just thrown his head back and bopped my nose.

Looks nice and refreshing. Nothing like an evening swim, huh? It's so great that y'all have a pool right there in your neighborhood. We just got a big above-ground pool and I love the idea that we can go and swim whenever we feel like it.

pooooool!

Loved the Anthony pics. And that nose bop, together with the expression on your face and Anthony's face. That's pretty much a motherhood classic.

If I can ever get Joerg to come along with me to the pool, I might finally get some pics of the girls, too.
