Ahhhh, Home.
We've been home for a few days now, and life is finally back to normal. I brought Anthony to day care on Thursday and Friday, and he was extremely hurt about that. I had expected the crying and screaming. I had also expected mad...what I got was hurt and sad. He would lay his head on my shoulder and cry to go home. It was so heartbreaking.
Beyond that, Anthony has been so glad to be home, too. He's gone through his closet to make sure that everything was just as he left it before Orlando. His toys have been lovingly played with, and he's been his normal playful self.
I start school again on Monday. The classes I'll take this summer will be anything but easy. I hope that I can keep my grades up, and do as well this semester as I have the past two. I made the Dean's List again for the Spring Semester! It's a little weird for me...to go from a "nobody" who didn't care about her grades to someone who is on the Dean's List and wants to be nothing but the best.
We got to see Danette and Mia yesterday. Mia and Anthony always have a great time playing together, and yesterday was no exception. My parents stopped by while Danette and Mia were here, and my dad had fun "scaring" the two kids when they would run up to him. I got a small taste of what it would be like to have two kids...running, screaming, laughing...it was scary and awesome at the same time! :)
Anyway, this weekend is going to be, thankfully, a boring one. We're Wal-Marting, visiting the grandparents, and staying put.
Love, Laurie

Welcome back to boring Louisiana. Glad to have you back.
We had a blast visiting. I love seeing our kids really starting to play together. Who would have ever thought? Love you and can't wait to see ya'll for the big REUNION!
Glad to hear you had a good time in Orlando. I agree, it is nice to go on vacation, but even better to come home! Good luck with summer school!
