24 Hours

Well! That bug was NASTY, but it only lasted 24 hours. Anthony developed a fever yesterday afternoon, but it was never very high (the highest was 100.5, I think). We were able to give Tylenol last night at 8:00 and again at midnight. When we checked his temperature at 4:00 this morning, the fever was gone! When we would take his temperature during the night, Anthony would wake up and ask for water. He took small sips and kept it all down. This morning he's had two pieces of dry toast, some water and some watered down Pedialyte. I think we'll avoid a trip to the doctor, and we most certainly avoided a trip to the ER last night! The pediatrician had wanted us to take Anthony in if we felt he was getting dehydrated.

Please pray that this is the end of the sickness in this house!

PS: My dad's mom is in the hospital with terrible back pains. An x-ray showed two old breaks (not sure where) and they believe that may be the source of her pain. Please say a prayer that she is able to pain free soon!
