A Little Sick Again

Well, Anthony started with a fever Thursday evening, so he spent the day at Spa Nana on Friday. His fever never went very high until yesterday afternoon. Margaret had taken Anthony to the pediatrician, and Mark met her there. In the clinic parking lot, Anthony threw up. Poor Margaret (and poor Anthony) didn't have any fresh clothes to change Anthony into, but luckily the appointment wasn't long. No ear infections (he can still get them with the tubes), no strep, no nothing "diagnosable". The pediatrician is assuming it's the same throat infection half of her patients have wandered in with.

Anthony fell asleep at Nana and Grandpa's last night, so Mark and I left him there rather than wake him to take him home. Around 9:45 Nana took Anthony's temperature and he was at 102. Tylenol solved that problem, though, and Anthony slept peacefully the rest of the night. He woke around 6:15 for a snuggle and then slept again until 8:30-ish. He had no fever this morning, and took a two-hour nap around lunch time. When he woke from his nap, Nana took his temperature again and it was in the low 99's. His nose is also running (clear) and he's been sneezing.

Mark's gone to get him as Nana and Grandpa kept him most of the day so Mark and I could run errands and get stuff done around the house. I guess a lot of snuggling will be in order to help my little man feel better. I'm OK with that!

Thanks for checking in on us!

Love, Laurie, Mark and Anthony
